CNW meeting for August 21st!

Games, Graphic Novels, and Zombies, Oh My!

Prepare for a zombie invasion this month, as our guest speaker will be Mark Long, co-CEO and a creative light at Zombie.com/Zombie Studios.

Judging from the bit of info I have on Mark, he's had a widely varied career, including stints with the military and NASA, but he is lately a game designer. In addition to producing games, however, Zombie is branching out into other areas, including graphic novels. Mark will have a computer-aided presentation on his expanding multimedia empire. For a preview of the material Zombie creates, see their website at www.zombie.com.

If we're still breathing after the display of undead warfare, we'll likely tackle some old familiar segments, including new business, the Best of the Northwest cartoon contest, and who knows what else? Perhaps THIS TIME we can get a quorum to head out for food and spirits at Goldie's after the meeting?

That is ... unless we're feeling more like eating ... brains?

When: Saturday, August 21st, 2010, from 4pm to 6pm
